Skaters are grouped according to level first and then by age.
Equipment Requirements
- CSA-approved helmets with face cage are mandatory.
- Hockey skates that lace up (plastic skates with buckles do not provide the proper support).
- Full hockey equipment including hockey gloves and stick.
- Blades should be single blade not double.
- It is very difficult to learn to skate on dull blades. All newly purchased skates must be sharpened.
- Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted.
