This program is a good place to start for the younger and older aspiring hockey player who demonstrates a passion for hockey. Designed to prepare for entry into house league hockey. Advanced Hockey Academy
This program is designed for players that have achieved a competent level of skating and hockey experience and are ready to take their game playing skills to the next level. This program teaches extreme balance routines to enhance body positioning. Through the use of hockey drills, the focus will be on improving overall conditioning such as rapid stops, explosive acceleration, speed, puck control, stick handling, faking, shooting and endurance. Skills, technique and conditioning drills are taught to emphasize how the skills apply to game situations.

Skaters are grouped according to level first and then by age.
Equipment Requirements
- CSA-approved helmets with face cage are mandatory.
- Hockey skates that lace up (plastic skates with buckles do not provide the proper support).
- Full hockey equipment including hockey gloves and stick.
- Blades should be single blade not double.
- It is very difficult to learn to skate on dull blades. All newly purchased skates must be sharpened.
- Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted.
