Dates and times are subject to change based on availability.
Skaters are grouped according to level first and then by age.
Equipment Requirements
- CSA-approved helmets are mandatory and face cage is optional for the Adult Learn to Skate programs.
- CSA-approved helmets with face cage are mandatory for the Adult Hockey Skills & Adult Power Skating programs.
- Full hockey equipment is required for the Adult Hockey Skills & Adult Power Skating programs.
- Hockey or figure skates that lace up (plastic skates with buckles do not provide the proper support).
- It is very difficult to learn to skate on dull blades. All newly purchased skates must be sharpened.
- Waterproof gloves and layered up in clothing that is warm, dark and waterproof.
- Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted.
