PARENT & TOT LEARN TO SKATE LESSONS

CLASS LENGTH: 30 MINUTES 
AGES: 2 - 5

Parents join their preschoolers on the ice in this parent and toddler instructional skating program. Designed for children with no skating experience to introduce skaters to the ice. Each skater is required to have one adult accompany them during the class. The accompanying adult must support and provide assistance for their child. The accompanying adult must wear skates and CSA-approved helmets are mandatory for all adults.



EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • CSA-approved helmets with face-masks are mandatory for toddlers & CSA - approved helmets are mandatory for all other participants. 
  • Hockey or figure skates that lace up (plastic skates with buckles do not provide the proper support).
  • Waterproof gloves and layered up in clothing that is warm, dark and waterproof.
  • Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted. 

     
  • Dates and times are subject to change based on availability.
  • Skaters are grouped according to level first and then by age.
 


 

PARENT & TOT HOCKEY LESSONS

CLASS LENGTH: 30 MINUTES 
AGES: 3 - 5

Parents join their young aspiring preschool hockey players on the ice in this parent and toddler instructional, non-competitive skating/hockey program. Designed to introduce young skaters who demonstrate a passion for hockey in a non-competitive atmosphere with their parent. CSA-approved helmets with face-masks are mandatory for toddlers. The accompanying adult must wear skates and helmet and be comfortable on the ice. Each skater is required to have one adult accompany them during the class.

Prerequisite: Pre School Skate Level 1 or beginner skating ability.

  • Hockey stick and gloves are required for both child and adult.
  • Waterproof gloves and layered up in clothing that is warm, dark and waterproof or hockey gloves.
  • Hockey equipment is recommended but not mandatory.
  • Bicycle or ski helmets are not permitted.
